Payment

Which payment methods are available on Kaio-Dia’s website?

We use the Peach payment platform and we offer the following payment methods:

Debit/credit card, EFT Secure and Apple Pay.

If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please contact our team by email hello@kaio-dia.co.za or by using our contact form. Your order will be processed once the funds are received in our bank account.

The list of payment methods is not contractual and can be modified without notice.

Can I pay with cash?

Unfortunately not

When will my instant EFT payment clear?

When paying by Instant EFT, there will be no waiting period before your payment is received and your order is authorized.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged after the successful placing of your order and the approval of your card. If there are any problems, you’ll hear from us.

 
Do you offer refunds or returns?

We are very confident that you will love our products as much as we do. However, should you be dissatisfied, we do offer return within 14 days of purchase and we will process the return within 10 business days upon receiving the return. Refunds are bank dependent and may take up to 10-14 working days to reflect. Return and refunds will be at Kaio Dia SA managements sole discretion depending on the condition of the product. Please email us at support@kaio-dia.co.za before logging a returns.

You will have to cover the postage fees and we will refund the product in full.

Do you offer exchanges?

Yes, the exchanges will be at Kaio Dia SA managements sole discretion depending on the condition of the product.

If you wish to proceed to the exchange of one or several items (size, color, model…) you will have to inform us by e-mail support@kaio-dia.co.za before returning it within 14 days of purchase.

Please Note:
You will have to cover all the postage fees for us to be able to exchange the product.

Do you offer orders cancellations?

Yes, the order cancellation will be at Kaio Dia SA management’s sole discretion provided that the product has not been dispatched.

Please Note:
Should you wish to cancel your order once it has been processed as an EFT or card payment, a 4% EFT and card payment fee will be levied against your refund.

Refunds are bank-dependent and may take up to 10-14 working days to reflect.

What if I don't have the original shipping packaging?

You are responsible for packing the product safely and securely for return to ensure against damage in transit.

How long does it take to process my return?

In general, once we have received the returned product, your return request will be processed within 10 business days. Once your returned product has been validated, your account will be credited, unless you requested a replacement, refund, or an exchange.

However, for products that fall within the extended supplier’s warranty, the process can take up to 15 business days. At that stage, because we want your experience to be as good as possible – if the supplier or manufacturer has offered you a repair/replacement but it takes longer than 15 business days to resolve the matter, we will get in touch with you to see if you would rather receive a credit/refund directly from us.

How do I know if you have received my return?

You will receive an email notification once your return has been received.

What are the options available for a return?

When logging your exchange/return request with us, you can select a preferred action. While we will do our best to fulfill this preference, we cannot guarantee that the option will be available, and this is also dependent on the outcome of the return. The available options include the following:

  • Credit my account (default) – The amount is credited to your Kaio Dia SA account.
  • Exchange – You can request an exchange if you’d like a different size and/or colour of the same product, which is available.
  • Replace this product – If you have received a product in a defective or damaged condition, you may request a replacement product, if it is available.
  • Refund – Once you have received confirmation that your account has been credited, you can request a refund instead of the account credit. Please note that we only refund to the payment method that you originally used – i.e. payment by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card, payment by EFT will be refunded to your nominated bank account.
How long does it take for me to receive a refund?

Once you have received confirmation that your refund has been approved, refunds are bank dependent and may take up to 10-14 working days to reflect.

Please note:
We only refund to the payment method that you originally used – i.e. payment by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card, payment by EFT will be refunded to your nominated bank account.

Can I return sale products?

Yes, sale products can be returned.

If you’re returning a sale product for a credit, the reduced price paid at the time of purchase will be credited back to you and not the full price.

If I receive the wrong product or the product is not as described on the website, what should I do?

If a product is not what you ordered or not as described, you can return it to us at no charge, provided that:

  • you request a return within 7 days of receiving your order;
  • it is undamaged and unused, with the original labels and stickers still attached;
  • it is in the original packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition with all seals still intact (except if it is an Unboxed Deal);
  • it is not missing any accessories or parts.

If your return request falls within this policy and is deemed eligible for a return, once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will at your choice either:

  • deliver the correct product to you (if the correct product is available) or;
  • credit your account with the purchase price of the product or;
  • refund you with the purchase price of the product.
Can I return a product without accessories?

Unfortunately not – the complete product has to be returned.

Delivery

I placed an order today, when will my order be delivered?

We prepare our orders within a maximum of 3 (three) days, although most of our orders are prepared and shipped within 1 (one) day. Once your order is complete, you will receive an email with a tracking code to follow the delivery.

What delivery method do you use?

We deliver your order by courier.

Do you deliver outside of South Africa?

For orders outside of South Africa please contact us on hello@kaio-dia.co.za

Items shipped outside of South Africa may be subject to possible duties and taxes that are not taken into account when ordering on our site. These possible expenses are neither taken in charge nor refunded by Kaio Dia SA. We invite you to contact the customs service of your country in order to obtain more information. Kaio Dia SA could not be held responsible if the delivery was to be affected by an importation process. However, we will take care of the necessary documentation from the country of export, South Africa.

Product care

How do I wash my Kaio-Dia SA products?

Wash at low temperatures.

The cool pack can never be washed.

For more information, please read the user manual carefully.

How do I dry my Kaio-Dia SA products?

If you do not need to use the Dia-Cool for a period of time, remove the Cool-Pack from the outer bag and let the Cool-Pack dry-out naturally or until the Gel-Pearls have returned to their solid form. Shake the Cool-Pack every now and then to prevent the pearls from sticking together.

For faster drying, place the Cool-Pack near a heat source like a central heating radiator, place it in the sun or hang it out to dry.

For all other Kaio-Dia SA products, please hang-out to dry.

Can I bleach my Kaio-Dia SA prodcuts?

Do not bleach any of your Kaio-Dia SA products.
